Executive Director - Anastasia Taylor, MSSW, LCSW
Anastasia's passion for adoption began at an early age. Her parents began the adoption process when she was in 6th grade and explored the best fit for their family through foster/adoption and domestic adoption until their hearts settled on international adoption from Russia. Anastasia was 15 years old when her sisters finally arrived home at the ages of 9, 12, and 14. In adulthood, Anastasia continued this strong love of adoption through her own informal support of her oldest two step children (now ages 18 and 17), her formal adoption of two sons (now ages 15 and 10), and in teaching this love to her biological daughter (now age 5). Adoption is deeply woven into the hearts of all of our staff members, both personally and professional.
Anastasia's professional experience with adoption began while working with birth parents, foster parents, and children in foster care during her time at Child Protective Services. She later left the agency to continue her education in Social Work, and also participated in counseling birth parents on their options while at Parkland Health & Hospital System. In her work at Alliance Child & Family Solutions LLC, she completed numerous private, foster, and contested adoption home assessments until the agency transferred their home study services to Compass Adoption. In addition to her paid experience, Anastasia previously served on the Board of Directors of Chosen Child Adoptions, until the agency moved to Longview.
